IBM and Lockheed Martin have established a quantum innovation hub at ETH Zurich in Switzerland. The initiative will host the country's first IBM Quantum System Two, which is powered by an IBM Quantum Nighthawk processor.

The partnership marks an extension of ongoing collaboration between the companies. They plan to initiate research projects with select Swiss academic institutions and expand access to quantum computing resources across the country.

ETH Zurich will provide expertise, resources, and technologies for Swiss industries, startups, and academia. The new hub aims to catalyze the development of new algorithms, technical breakthroughs, and industrial use cases in areas such as chemistry, materials science, optimization, and financial services.
