Amazon Cargo Plane Crashes at Miami International Airport
An Amazon cargo jet operated by 21 Air crashed at Miami International Airport on September 6, 2026. The Boeing 767-300, which was arriving from San Juan, Puerto Rico, overran the runway and struck two vehicles outside the airport perimeter.
At least five people were killed in the crash, while five others were injured. The National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) is investigating the cause of the accident, having recovered flight data and voice recorders but not yet determining probable cause.
