A Boeing 767 cargo plane operated by Amazon overshot the runway at Miami International Airport on September 6, 2026. The incident occurred when the plane failed to stop in time and continued onto the grass beyond the end of the runway.
No injuries or fatalities were reported as a result of the incident. An investigation is currently underway to determine the cause of the overrun.
