Amazon.com Sees Increased Institutional Investment Interest
Comprehensive Money Management Services LLC recently acquired a new stake in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN) worth approximately $717,000, according to its latest 13F filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
This is not an isolated instance of investment interest in AMZN, as several other hedge funds have also made changes to their positions in the e-commerce giant during the second quarter. Bank of America Corp DE purchased a new stake valued at $22,218,775,000, while Bank of New York Mellon Corp acquired a new position worth about $16,341,405,000.
Other notable investors, such as Invesco Ltd. and Amundi, have also increased their stakes in Amazon.com during the quarter. Notably, 72.20% of the company's stock is currently owned by institutional investors.
