Amazon Delivery Drivers Cause Traffic Chaos in Capital Region

Amazon's delivery service has been causing chaos in the Capital Region, particularly in Albany. Multiple fulfillment centers, warehouses, and distribution sites have brought a surge of jobs to the area, but with it comes a host of problems related to traffic congestion.

According to eyewitnesses, Amazon drivers are often seen blocking traffic, driving erratically, and causing traffic jams wherever they go. They also seem to be unfamiliar with the local streets, as evidenced by an incident where a driver went across every lane on Washington Avenue to get to a side street, cutting off multiple vehicles.

The situation is expected to worsen during the holiday season, when demand for deliveries spikes. To mitigate this, Amazon has been urged to provide its drivers with safety courses before the busy period begins.
