Amazon Drone Deliveries Set to Reach 500 Cities by End of 2026

Amazon announced plans to expand its Prime Air drone delivery service to nearly 500 cities and towns across the United States by the end of 2026, a sixfold increase from its current footprint.

The expansion will bring Amazon's Prime Air delivery service to more than four times as many locations, making it one of the largest drone delivery networks in the country.

Amazon has been testing its Prime Air drone delivery service since 2013 and has already expanded it to several cities, including Lockeford, California, and College Station, Texas.

The company did not provide details on how it plans to achieve this expansion or what technologies it will use to support the growth of its drone delivery network.
