Amazon Employees Celebrate Academic Achievements in Windsor
More than 140 Amazon employees in Windsor, Connecticut, celebrated their academic achievements and professional certifications at the company's BDL4 fulfillment center. The Career Choice graduation ceremony marked a significant milestone for the employees who completed various programs through Amazon's tuition reimbursement program.
The employees had pursued degrees and certifications in fields such as commercial driver's license certification, information technology, mechatronics, data analytics, operations leadership, and business management. Some also completed English-language proficiency programs.
A notable graduate was Tyler Crawford, a Waterbury native who earned a bachelor's degree in business management through Southern New Hampshire University while working at the BDL4 fulfillment center.
The Career Choice program has been successful in Connecticut, with over 2,100 employees participating since 2019. The program pre-pays tuition, books, and fees for eligible employees who have worked at Amazon for at least 90 days.
