Amazon Expands Locker Network to College Campuses Nationwide
Amazon has expanded its Locker network to college and university campuses across the United States. The company has added 750 new locations at more than 500 institutions, bringing the total number of package pickup locations to over 25,000 nationwide.
The move aims to provide a convenient solution for students who want their packages delivered to a secure location on campus rather than their home or dorm room. Students can have eligible orders delivered to a Locker and pick them up within three calendar days at no additional cost.
Amazon is also promoting its Prime for Young Adults service, which offers all the benefits of Prime membership at 50% of the cost to students aged 18-24. To sign up, new customers can confirm their age by sharing their driver's license or passport, and enrolled students can sign up using their .edu email address.
