Amazon Fixes AZW3 E-book Refresh Issues in Latest Kindle Update

Amazon has released software update 5.19.6 for its Kindle e-readers and e-notes, including the Kindle (11th Generation) - 2024, Kindle Paperwhite (12th Generation), Kindle Colorsoft, and various models of the Kindle Scribe.

The update includes performance improvements, bug fixes, and general enhancements, according to Amazon's change log.

However, social media users have discovered that the update also resolves two specific issues: AZW3 e-book files refreshing properly again for e-books and digital manga, and virtual panels working correctly for manga in MOBI format sideloaded on the Kindle.

The bug fixes may be a relief to some users who had been experiencing problems with these features. It's worth noting that patch notes can sometimes be delayed as new features are rolled out to current-generation e-readers and e-notes receiving firmware updates.
