Amazon Invests $3 Billion in India's Quick-Commerce Market
Amazon.com Inc (NASDAQ: AMZN) has announced a $3 billion investment plan targeting India's quick-commerce market by 2030, with an initial $1 billion deployment expected by the end of 2027.
The move aims to bolster its Amazon Now service, which recently surpassed $1 billion in annualized gross sales, by expanding local warehouse infrastructure to accelerate delivery times.
Amazon's Price-to-Sales (P/S) ratio currently stands at 3.49x, slightly above its historical median of 3.45x and reflective of market expectations for robust future growth.
