Amazon Invites Limited NeeDoh Advent Calendar Buyers Amid Extreme Demand
The NeeDoh Advent calendar is back on Amazon, but it's been notoriously hard to get your hands on. This squish-filled countdown includes 24 mini versions of NeeDoh's most popular shapes and has been selling out quickly.
Earlier this summer, the product sold out almost instantly, and restocks have been few and far between. The company behind NeeDoh, Schylling, no longer lists the Advent calendar on its website, and a pop-up alert warns that demand is exceptionally high right now.
To combat the shortage, Amazon has implemented an invitation system to ensure as many genuine customers as possible can buy this high-demand item. When the product page is visited, users are prompted to 'Request Invite' to see if they're selected to purchase the Advent calendar.
Those who receive an invitation will have 72 hours to place their order through a special link provided in the email. Amazon Prime members may be able to get their calendars even faster, but delivery times and wait periods for invitations vary.
