Amazon Package Becomes Unlikely Shelter for Sick Stray Cat

A gray tabby cat named Maribel was found on an Amazon package in New York last week.

The cat was initially thought to be resting, but soon revealed his true condition as elderly and sick.

PuppyKittyNYCity (PKNYC) responded quickly to the scene and rescued Maribel from the box, taking him to their headquarters for a thorough checkup.

Unfortunately, the examination confirmed that Maribel has heart disease and asthma in addition to being recovering from illness.

Despite his condition improving slowly each day, PKNYC is desperate to find Maribel a foster home as soon as possible, so he can receive the care and environment he needs to fully recover.
