Amazon Prime Air Cargo Plane Crashes in Miami, Five Dead

At least five people died in a crash involving an Amazon Prime Air cargo plane at Miami International Airport on Sunday. The Boeing 767-300 freighter, operated by 21 Air for Amazon, overran the runway and struck multiple vehicles while landing.

The incident occurred around 2 p.m. EDT, with the pilot and co-pilot trapped inside the plane. Three people were in critical condition among the five injured.

Miami-Dade Fire Chief Ray Jadallah said emergency personnel were dealing with a fuel leak from the aircraft as of late afternoon on Sunday.
