Amazon Prime Error Hits Blue Jackets Fans Ahead of Season Opener

Columbus Blue Jackets fans encountered difficulties purchasing a subscription to the team's exclusive streaming network on Amazon Prime, just before their season opener.

The issue arose when some fans received an error message stating 'There's a problem with your subscription sign-up. Please try again later' while attempting to sign up for the Blue Jackets Hockey Network through Amazon on September 30th.

An Amazon representative confirmed that the service had experienced high volumes of reports of users unable to subscribe, but the issue was quickly resolved after identification by Amazon.

The Blue Jackets have a deal with Amazon Prime, allowing fans to purchase a direct subscription for $19.99 per month or $99.99 annually, which is cheaper than a cable TV package.
