Amazon Prime members now have a new perk: free delivery on Uber Eats orders. The retail giant announced on Thursday that Prime members can order food through Uber Eats without paying a delivery fee on orders of $25 or more. The companies are also offering $20 off the first two orders of $25 or more.

To take advantage of this benefit, users must place their Uber Eats orders through Amazon. No new app, Uber account, or credentials are required, according to Amazon's announcement. This partnership marks the end of Amazon's collaboration with Grubhub, which had provided similar benefits to Prime members since 2022.

The new Uber Eats partnership is part of a series of recent changes in the delivery industry. Last week, DoorDash announced plans to acquire Instacart in a $17 billion deal, while Walmart has been expanding into restaurant delivery using its own pool of gig workers.

This Uber Eats perk is the latest addition to the benefits offered to Prime members, which already include free access to Alexa+, same-day fresh grocery delivery, and a fuel discount.
