Amazon Prime Members Get 20-Cent Gas Discount Every Friday
Amazon Prime members are set to receive a discount on gas prices starting this October. The program, which launches on Oct. 2, offers a 20-cent-per-gallon discount every Friday at participating gas stations, including BP, Amoco, and select Ampm and Thorntons locations. The promotion is scheduled to run through Jan. 29, 2027.
To take advantage of this deal, Prime members need to create a BP earnify account and link it to their Prime membership. This combination provides an automatic base discount of 5 cents per gallon, an additional 5-cent savings for Prime members, and another 10 cents during the promotional period, totaling 20 cents off per gallon. The discount can be applied by entering a phone number at the pump or using the app.
The discount is valid once every Friday for up to 35 gallons. If members need to fill up on other days, they will still receive 10 cents off per gallon through the regular discount between Amazon and earnify. This offer is available for all fuel types with no minimum or maximum gallon requirement. However, canceling a Prime membership will immediately end the discount.
