Amazon Pumps $1.9B into Delivery Service Partner Program Amid Safety Gains
Amazon has announced a $1.9 billion investment in its Delivery Service Partner (DSP) program for 2027, aimed at supporting DSP owners and increasing Delivery Associate pay to nearly $24 per hour.
The latest investment brings the total amount Amazon has invested in the DSP program to $21.7 billion since its inception eight years ago.
The company reports that serious vehicle crashes have decreased by more than 23% across its network, thanks to safety initiatives and technology such as Wellspring, an AI-powered mapping system, and Smart Delivery Glasses.
