Amazon has hiked prices on several of its Echo, Kindle, Fire TV, and Eero products due to rising memory and storage costs.

The price of Amazon's Fire TV Stick 4K Max has risen sharply from ₹5,739 (US$59.99) to ₹8,129 (US$84.99), while the Fire TV Stick HD now costs ₹3,826 (US$39.99), up from ₹3,347 (US$34.99).

The Echo Dot has seen a 60% price increase, going from ₹4,782 (US$49.99) to ₹7,654 (US$79.99).

Amazon's e-readers have also become more expensive, with the 16GB Kindle increasing from ₹10,521 (US$109.99) to ₹14,348 (US$149.99), and the Kindle Paperwhite now costing ₹19,128 (US$199.99), a rise of ₹3,826 (US$40).

Amazon blames rising memory costs for the price hikes, saying it has absorbed the higher costs for as long as possible before passing them on to customers.
