Amazon Rolls Out Amazon Autos for Car Buying
Amazon has launched Amazon Autos, a service that lets customers browse and compare new, used, and certified pre-owned vehicles from trusted dealers across the US. With over 1,000 participating dealers in more than 130 cities, shoppers can research and purchase a car entirely online.
The process is straightforward: customers search for vehicles within 75 miles of their location, filter by make, model, price, and features, and then choose to finance, lease, or pay in full. Amazon Autos also offers trade-in valuations and optional protection plans.
Amazon doesn't charge transaction fees or commissions, and every vehicle has an upfront price set by the dealer. Costs are itemized, so customers know exactly what they're paying for. Financing options are also available online, with clear terms and itemized costs.
