Amazon Seeks £4.25 Bn Through Sterling Bond Sale

Amazon Inc has successfully raised £4.25 billion through its recent sale of sterling-denominated senior notes.

The bond sale, which was completed on September 14, 2026, comprises four series with maturities ranging from 2029 to 2045.

The notes include £1.25 billion of 5.200% bonds due in 2029, as well as £1 billion each of 5.550% and 6.250% bonds due in 2032 and 2038, respectively.

Additionally, Amazon issued £1 billion worth of 6.650% bonds due in 2045, with the total proceeds from the sale amounting to approximately £4.242 billion at the public offering price.
