Amazon Sees Fresh Boost From Advisors Capital Management
Advisors Capital Management LLC, an investment firm, has acquired a new stake in Amazon.com, Inc. (NASDAQ:AMZN), according to its latest 13F filing with the SEC.
The fund purchased approximately 561,159 shares of Amazon's stock in the second quarter, valued at around $133,747,000. This acquisition accounts for about 1.4% of Advisors Capital Management LLC's portfolio, making it the firm's eleventh biggest holding.
Amazon.com has seen significant interest from institutional investors in recent months. Auto Owners Insurance Co increased its holdings by a staggering 27,376.7% in the fourth quarter and now owns 98,448,885 shares worth $2,272,397,000.
Bank of New York Mellon Corp also bought a new stake in Amazon during the second quarter, valued at approximately $16,341,405,000.
