Amazon Series Things We Never Got Over Adds Six New Cast Members
The upcoming Amazon series adaptation of Lucy Score’s novel “Things We Never Got Over” has expanded its cast with six new additions. The latest actors joining the Prime Video series include Sean Teale, Sarah Jeffery, Megan Stott, Lili Simmons, Anthony Keyvan, and JoBeth Williams. They will portray Lucian, Sloane, Waylay, Lina, Stef, and Liza J., respectively.
The series, set in the quirky town of Knockemout, Virginia, follows Naomi Witt (Molly Griggs), a runaway bride who arrives to rescue her estranged twin sister but ends up uncovering unexpected connections and challenges. The story revolves around Naomi’s discovery of a niece she never knew existed, alongside a cast of compelling characters, including local sheriff Nash Morgan (Tommy Martinez) and his brother Knox Morgan (Matthew Noszka).
The project, announced in June, is based on the first book in Score’s Knockemout series. Eric Charmelo and Nicole Snyder, who wrote the pilot, will serve as showrunners and executive producers. Amazon MGM Studios is producing the series, with Gina Girolamo and Lucy Score also serving as executive producers.
Amazon has seen success with TV adaptations of novel series, including hits like “Reacher”, “The Summer I Turned Pretty”, and “We Were Liars”. This new addition to their lineup continues the trend of adapting popular books for the screen.
