Amazon Stake Reduced by 81.6% as Hedge Funds Shift Positions
Quantitative Investment Management LLC has reduced its stake in Amazon.com Inc. (NASDAQ: AMZN) by 81.6% as of the second quarter, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission.
The institutional investor owned 7,494 shares of Amazon's stock after selling 33,264 shares during the period, valued at $1.79 million at the end of the most recent quarter.
Amazon's e-commerce giant has also seen changes in its positions from other hedge funds, including Susquehanna Fundamental Investments LLC and Benjamin Edwards Inc., which purchased new stakes in the company.
