Amazon Stock Rating Upgraded Amid Choppy Market

Amazon's stock price slipped by 1.41% on Monday, September 28, 2026, closing at $246.15 after a prior close of $249.67.

The decline marked a choppy two weeks for the retail and cloud giant, but despite this, a recent technical review upgraded Amazon's stock rating from Sell to Hold.

According to the analysis, several positive signals have built up since mid-September that contributed to the upgrade, including momentum indicators turning positive.

The Moving Average Convergence Divergence (MACD) indicator has also issued a buy signal, which is one of the factors supporting the upgrade in Amazon's rating.
