Amazon Stocks Revere Public Schools Classrooms Ahead of New School Year
Revere Public Schools in Massachusetts has received a generous donation from Amazon to stock classrooms with essential supplies. The donation, which provided materials for every RPS teacher, included 30 pencils, dry-erase markers, tissues, and paper. According to Superintendent Dr. Dianne Kelly, the districtwide donation helped ensure educators began the 2026-2027 school year with some of those classroom essentials already on hand.
The supplies were distributed to schools across the district, where administrators and staff helped get them into the hands of educators. Amazon representatives said the donation grew out of conversations with RPS about the supplies teachers and students could use most.
Rumney Marsh Academy Principal Dr. Heather Bobb even involved her 8th-grade student leaders in distributing the donated materials to teachers throughout the building, giving them a chance to play a role in the effort. Amazon's contribution was appreciated by educators across the district, who saw it as a valuable partnership between the company and the school community.
