Amazon Sued Over Deadly Miami Plane Crash
A survivor of the Miami plane crash that occurred at Miami International Airport has filed a negligence lawsuit against Amazon, the pilots of the vessel, and 21 Air. According to reports from the Miami Herald, Roosevelt Sebastain Perdomo Torres was one of seven people in a van hit by the plane after it overshot the runway. He was ejected from the van on impact and suffered severe injuries, including broken bones. This is the third lawsuit filed in connection with the collision.
The survivor remains in intensive care at Jackson Memorial Hospital, where he received treatment for his injuries. Attorneys filed the lawsuit on behalf of Perdomo Torres against Amazon, 21 Air, and the plane's pilots. The widow of Yoel Rodriguez Naranjo, who was driving the van, has also filed a lawsuit.
