Amazon Suspends Partnership with Cargo Carrier After Deadly Crash
Amazon has suspended its partnership with cargo carrier 21 Air following a deadly runway crash in Miami last week.
The incident, which occurred on September 6, involved a Boeing 767 aircraft that was carrying Amazon packages.
The plane careened off the end of the runway and crashed into a van, killing five people and injuring five others.
Amazon spokesperson Kelly Nantel said in a statement that the company has suspended operations with 21 Air 'after the tragic incident last weekend' and will continue to support the investigation.
