Amazon Unleashes Early Deals Ahead of October Prime Day

Amazon's Prime Big Deal Days, also known as October Prime Day, is just around the corner and the tech giant has already started offering discounts on its own devices. The sale, which will run from October 6 to 7 this year, is an opportunity for customers to score deals on Amazon devices before the holiday season begins.

As a response to last month's price hike of up to 60% across its hardware range, Amazon is offering discounts that essentially cancel out the increase. The first round of deals includes Fire tablets, Blink cameras, Fire TV Sticks, and eero devices, among others.

The Fire HD 10 tablet, for instance, is now available for $72.99, a full 53% off its list price. Other discounted devices include the Amazon Fire 7 Kids ($49.99), Amazon Fire HD 8 ($79.99), and Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K Plus ($24.99).

In addition to device deals, Prime members can also score discounts on subscription services like Kindle Unlimited (three free months) and Audible Standard (four months for $0.99 per month).
