Amazon Unleashes Warhammer 40,000 Animated Series

A 'Warhammer 40,000' animated event series is in development at Amazon MGM Studios, Blur Studios, and Games Workshop. The project will be a spinoff of the Amazon animated anthology series 'Secret Level', which featured a 'Warhammer 40,000' episode when it debuted in late 2024.

The animated series will be developed alongside the live-action 'Warhammer 40,000' series currently in production at Amazon, with Henry Cavill set to executive produce. Dave Wilson, who directed the 'Warhammer 40,000' episode of 'Secret Level', is co-creator and director of the new series.

The exact plot details are under wraps, but it will feature The Deathwatch, an elite group of Space Marines that specialize in hunting down alien threats. Tim Miller, creator of 'Secret Level', will executive produce alongside Wilson for Blur Studios, along with Cavill and Natalie Viscuso.
