Amazon Unveils AI-Powered Tools for Sellers, Integrating with Anthropic's Claude
Amazon has unveiled new AI tools for its sellers to streamline their businesses across the marketplace. The platform's Seller Assistant, which was launched in 2023 and updated recently, now integrates with Anthropic Agent Claude.
The integration enables sellers to run their businesses using Anthropic's Claude and 'Amazon Quick' assistants, which can create documents and spreadsheets, conduct research, and connect to existing email, calendar, and files. The AI companion also carries the memory of each seller's pricing patterns, inventory cycles, and growth goals.
According to Amazon, 90% of sellers use Claude models to help them make informed decisions. With the updated Seller Assistant plugin, sellers can check inventory, adjust prices, and update listings without opening Amazon's dashboard. The tool also provides data-driven insights into Claude alongside existing accounting and supplier data connections.
The new AI tools will allow sellers to manage their Amazon Advertising campaigns more efficiently. By bridging the gap between raw e-commerce data and strategic execution, the connection between Seller Assistant and advertising across Amazon reduces friction in synthesizing data from multiple systems.
