Amazon Unveils Employee Grocery Discount for US Workforce
Amazon is introducing a new benefit for its US employees, offering discounts on grocery and everyday essential purchases. From October 1st, employees will receive a 10% discount on eligible groceries purchased on Amazon.com and through Whole Foods Market Online. In-store purchases at Whole Foods Market will qualify for a 20% discount.
The benefit is available to all US employees from their first day of employment, with no minimum purchase requirement or cap on the discount. The discount applies to everyday products such as fresh produce, dairy, pantry staples, and more.
Amazon's Employee Grocery Discount is part of the company's broader expansion of benefits for its US workforce. Additionally, over 100,000 Whole Foods Market employees will gain access to Amazon's comprehensive benefits as part of an investment of over $230 million in higher pay and expanded benefits.
