Amazon Unveils Kindle Click, a $35 Remote for Turning Pages
Amazon has released a new accessory for its Kindle e-readers called the Kindle Click. This compact Bluetooth remote is designed to let readers turn pages without touching their device, making it ideal for situations where it's inconvenient to do so.
The remote is priced at $34.99 and is compatible with all new Kindle devices as well as those released in 2024 or later. According to Amazon, the Kindle Click can solve a common annoyance for e-reader owners who have to reach over and tap the screen every time they want to move to the next page.
This new accessory puts Amazon into a category that competitors have already started exploring, with companies like Rakuten Kobo offering similar products. The Kindle Click is priced higher than some of these competing accessories, but Amazon is likely betting that its users will pay for an official product designed specifically for their lineup.
