Amazon Unveils New Kindle Lineup with Colorful Designs and Page-Turning Remote

Amazon has introduced a new lineup of Kindle e-readers, including the Colorsoft and Paperwhite models. The devices feature a newly designed reverse-stack display construction, which is a first for the e-reader category. This design allows for a flush-front display with no raised border interrupting the reading surface.

The new Kindle lineup includes several new colors, such as Ube (a rich purple), Alpine Sky, Seaglass Green, and Graphite. The company has also introduced Fig to e-readers for the first time.

Amazon is also releasing a compact Bluetooth remote called the Kindle Click, priced at $34.99. This device allows readers to turn pages without touching their Kindle, making it ideal for situations where touching the device is inconvenient. It's designed for reading under the covers, on a treadmill, or with a Kindle resting on a tray table during a flight.

The Kindle Click is compatible with all new Kindle devices, as well as models released in 2024 and later. Amazon positions it as an official accessory designed specifically for newer Kindle models.
