Amazon Unveils New Kindle Models with Improved Designs and Colors
Amazon has released new versions of its Kindle e-readers across all models. The devices feature improved designs and colors, including Ube purple and Fig red.
The entry-level Kindle now has a flush-front display with colors that wrap around the body. It is thinner than its predecessor at 6.8mm and weighs only 140 grams. With 16GB of storage, this model can last for six weeks on a single charge and is 30% faster when opening books compared to the previous entry-level e-reader.
The basic Kindle will start at $150 with ads and be available in Ube and Graphite. There is also an aluminum variant with 32GB of storage, twice that of the most basic model, which will cost more due to its premium feel and weight.
