Amazon Unveils the Fire 11 Max: A Premium Tablet Experience
Amazon has launched its biggest and most powerful tablet yet, the Fire 11 Max. The device boasts a premium design with gray aluminum and slim bezels, making it more grown-up than previous Fire tablets.
The screen features a 2,000 x 1,200 resolution at 213 pixels per inch (ppi) with 410 nits of brightness. It also comes with a built-in Alexa assistant and 'Show Mode' that turns it into a smart home hub.
Amazon claims the Fire 11 Max is three times as durable as the $449 10th-generation iPad from October 2022, but warns against drop-testing it.
The tablet runs on a 2.2Ghz octa-core processor with 4GB of RAM and WiFi 6 connectivity, making it almost 50 percent faster than the Fire HD 10 Plus. It also offers new storage options of 64 or 128GB, expandable by up to 1TB via microSD card.
