Amazon Vet Joins Academy Asset Management

Nate Neibauer, the former Head of Investments at Amazon, has joined Academy Asset Management as Managing Director and Head of Portfolio Management.

In his new role, Neibauer will lead the firm's portfolio management platform. He comes from a background of managing over $100 billion in strategies at Amazon.

At Amazon, Neibauer established the company's in-house investment team and directed the plan and execution of the portfolio management function. This included overseeing external mandates, leading short-term funding, directing the issuance of commercial paper, and managing liquidity, counterparty risk, and investment advisory support.
