Amazon Website Crashes Amidst Widespread Outage
An outage on Amazon's website and mobile app has left customers frustrated as they experience difficulties logging in, navigating product pages, and checking out. According to monitoring service Downdetector, user reports began surfacing around 6 PM local time, with approximately 74% of complaints directed at the website.
The issues experienced by Amazon users include login failures, unresponsive shipping and returns pages, and checkout failures. While an official reason for the outage has not been disclosed, common causes include server overload, cloud services issues, DNS failures, internal software bugs, content delivery network malfunctions, and database problems.
