Amazon's Prime Day Forecasted to Bring in $10 Billion in October
Amazon's upcoming Prime Day event on October 6-7 could bring in $10 billion for the company, according to Adobe Analytics. This would be an early boost before the traditional holiday season and a record U.S. online holiday season that Adobe expects to reach $275.1 billion with a 6.7% increase from last year.
The event has helped reshape the shopping season by creating another major spike in spending, forcing retailers to adjust promotions and inventory earlier. October's spending is expected to reach $95.8 billion, an 8% year-over-year increase.
Electronics are expected to be a key product category for Amazon and other online retailers during the holiday season. Adobe forecasts that products such as Apple's AirPods Pro 4 and iPhone 18 Pro and Duo, Google's Pixel 11, Meta's AI glasses, and Samsung's Galaxy S26 and Z Fold 8 will rank among popular items.
