American Express Sees Significant Investment from Institutional Investors
American Express Company (NYSE:AXP) has seen significant investment from various institutional investors and hedge funds. Evanson Financial LLC, for instance, purchased a new position in American Express shares during the second quarter, amounting to approximately $1.35 million. This purchase consists of 3,991 shares.
Other notable investors have also increased their stakes in American Express. Keybank National Association OH boosted its position by 3% during the fourth quarter and now owns 359,261 shares worth around $132,909,000. Swiss Life Asset Management Ltd grew its stake by 34.1% and owns 139,887 shares valued at $51,751,000.
The payment services company reported a revenue of $14.99 billion for the quarter, surpassing analysts' expectations of $19.70 billion. American Express has set its FY 2026 guidance at 17.300-17.900 EPS and analysts predict that the company will post 17.67 earnings per share for the current year.
Recently, American Express declared a quarterly dividend of $0.95 per share, which represents an annualized yield of 1.1%. The ex-dividend date is set for Thursday, July 2nd.
