American Express Unveils Corporate Cashback Card with Expense Management Features
American Express has launched its Corporate Cashback Card program, which integrates card services with expense management software and a mobile app.
The new card offers 1.5% cash back on eligible purchases up to $10 million per calendar year across all company cards, then 1% thereafter. The annual membership fee is $2,950 for unlimited cards, waived for the first year for customers who apply by March 31, 2027.
The program includes expense management software that automatically captures transaction data from Corporate Cashback Card purchases and generates expense submissions as purchases are made. The Amex Expense mobile app uses AI to recommend fields based on employee expense history.
American Express plans to introduce AI agents later this fall, including an expense agent and an insights agent for analyzing spending data. The company also plans to add accounts payable software for Corporate Cashback Card customers.
