American Express Unveils Next-Gen Amex Corporate Platform

American Express has launched the next generation of its Amex Corporate platform, designed to simplify company spending and improve operational efficiency. The new platform combines a range of features, including intelligent software, AI-powered tools, and award-winning service.

The key components of the new platform include the American Express Corporate Cashback Card, which offers 1.5% cash back on eligible purchases, with unlimited physical and Virtual Cards for employees available for one flat annual fee. The Card also features 3% Uber Cash on Business Rides and Uber Eats.

The Amex Expense mobile app automatically generates expense submissions as purchases are made, reducing the manual steps needed for traditional employee expense reports. The app uses AI to make recommendations for various fields based on an employee's expense history, which they can review and accept.

American Express plans to continuously enhance the Amex Corporate platform, adding new AI-powered features and spend management capabilities that can help customers further simplify processes. The company has announced plans to introduce new AI agents into the Amex Corporate Expense Management software later this fall, as well as Accounts Payable (AP) software available to Corporate Cashback Card customers.
