Starting today, customers will receive their annual lodging credit when booking certain Airbnb luxury rentals for two nights or more. This $600 credit is part of a broader effort to integrate Airbnb offerings with Amex Travel, the card company’s travel booking portal.
In addition to the lodging credit, Amex Platinum cardholders will now be eligible for a $250 statement credit when booking select Airbnb experiences tied to luxury properties. The partnership aims to provide cardholders with more travel options and exclusive perks, according to a statement released by the companies.
The new benefits are set to roll out immediately, with Airbnb listings now available through Amex Travel. This move is expected to drive more traffic to Airbnb’s high-end rentals while offering Amex cardholders added value for their membership.
