Amex Brings Luxury Travel Experience to Amsterdam Schiphol
Amsterdam Airport Schiphol welcomed its first Centurion Lounge on September 17, marking another milestone for American Express' Global Lounge Collection. The new location is the company's 33rd lounge and its first in continental Europe to carry the Centurion Lounge name.
Inspired by Dutch art, landscapes, culture, and design, the nearly 6,000-square-foot lounge features floor-to-ceiling windows, a Blue Roast Coffee Bar, a full bar with beer and cocktails, and a buffet offering seasonal dishes. The lounge is open from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. daily.
American Express President Audrey Hendley said Schiphol was chosen due to its status as a major travel hub for Card Members in the Netherlands and around the world. 'Schiphol is a natural place to bring the Centurion Lounge experience,' she stated.
