Amex Covers Delta SkyMiles Transfer Fees Up To $330

American Express has introduced an offer for select Delta cardholders to receive statement credits covering up to $330 in SkyMiles transfer fees. This move allows users to transfer 30,000 miles to another account without incurring the standard fee of $30 plus 1 cent per mile.

The targeted offer is only available to eligible Delta SkyMiles Gold or Platinum cardholders who can transfer up to 30,000 miles per transaction to four recipients. The recipient accounts must be older than 10 days with at least one earned mile. Multiple transfers are allowed within annual limits: 300,000 received and 150,000 sent per account yearly.

This development enables travelers to pool miles across accounts without paying steep transfer fees, making joint bookings or filling mileage gaps more feasible. Those who miss the November 14 deadline will have to pay full price for transfers that were previously impractical due to the high fees.
