Amex Launches First Continental European Centurion Lounge in Amsterdam

American Express has opened its 33rd Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, marking its first proprietary lounge in continental Europe. The new lounge spans nearly 550 square meters and is dedicated to Centurion and Platinum cardholders, as well as holders of Delta SkyMiles Reserve and Reserve Business co-branded cards.

The lounge celebrates Dutch cultural heritage with a palette of blues, greens, and natural tones evoking the city's canals. The interior design includes works by local artists, including a painting by Mieke Jonker featuring American Express's iconic bulldog, alongside references to Delftware and former queens of the Netherlands.

The Centurion Lounge at Amsterdam Airport Schiphol offers a range of amenities, including a Blue Roast Coffee Bar serving coffees from local suppliers, a buffet featuring seasonal dishes inspired by Dutch flavors, and a bar. Visitors can choose between comfortable armchairs, banquettes, or high tables, alongside quiet workspaces or areas designed for groups.
