Amex Offers Free Miles Transfers with Up to $330 Back
American Express has rolled out a new Amex Offer that allows Delta SkyMiles cardholders to transfer up to 30,000 miles to another member without incurring the usual $330 processing fee. This offer is available on the company's co-branded Delta SkyMiles cards and expires on November 14th.
The normal cost of transferring miles from one account to another includes a $30 processing fee and 1 cent per mile, making it a prohibitively expensive process. However, with this new Amex Offer, cardholders can earn up to $330 back in statement credits, effectively covering the transfer fees.
This offer is particularly useful for travelers who need to combine miles with someone else or want to share miles among family members. Cardholders can add the offer to their account and then proceed to transfer miles to up to four recipients per transaction, with a maximum of 30,000 miles transferred at a time.
