The American Express Platinum Charge will increase its annual fee for supplementary cards from $163.50 to $272.50 on October 15, 2026.

This change affects only the third and subsequent supplementary cards, as the first two cards remain free of charge.

The AMEX Platinum Charge offers a range of benefits to its supplementary cardholders, including unlimited lounge access, hotel elite status, dining discounts, and more.

Aaron Wong, founder of The Milelion, notes that while the fee increase may seem steep, it's still relatively reasonable considering the valuable perks provided by the AMEX Platinum Charge.
