Amex Tops Customer Satisfaction Amid Rising Financial Stress
Despite increasing financial stress for Americans, American Express (Amex) has retained its top spot in customer satisfaction among credit card issuers, according to a recent J.D. Power study.
The study found that Amex ranked first in customer satisfaction for the seventh consecutive year, with Chase coming in second and Bank of America third.
Interestingly, American Express raised the fee on its Platinum Card from $695 to $895 during the study period, but this did not deter cardholders from ranking it highest in its segment for the second consecutive year.
This suggests that premium cards are still valued by customers, despite their relatively high price tags.
