Amex Transfer Bonus Offers 30% Boost to Avios Points

American Express Membership Rewards is offering a 30% transfer bonus to Avios programs, including British Airways, Iberia, and Aer Lingus. This transfer bonus is a welcome change for American Express cardholders, who have seen fewer transfer bonuses in the past year.

The deal allows members to earn 1.3 times the usual amount of Avios when transferring Membership Rewards points to any of these three programs. The transfer bonus will expire on September 27, 2026, giving cardholders plenty of time to plan their rewards redemption.

Avios programs offer flexibility in that points can be transferred between them for free. This means that cardholders can choose the program that offers the best value for their award flights.
