American Express has opened its first Centurion Lounge in Amsterdam Airport Schiphol, marking an important expansion for the credit card company's global lounge network.

The nearly 6,000-square-foot lounge is located between Concourses E and F in the non-Schengen departure area and is open daily from 6 a.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Audrey Hendley, president of American Express Travel, stated that the lounge will 'make travel a little bit easier for customers when they're on their way.'

The Centurion Lounge in Amsterdam features distinctly Dutch touches, including local craft brews and bar snacks, Delftware-inspired details, and a design palette drawn from the city's canals.

Eligible cardholders can enjoy food options such as bitterballen, gerookte paling, truffle-topped macaroni and cheese, and Dutch pastries, along with coffee, cocktails, and Heineken beer.
